Vinton man arrested, charged with child porn

VINTON, La. (KLFY) -- A Vinton man was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of child pornography, authorities said.
Erik G. Addison, 56, of Vinton, is charged with two counts of pornography involving juveniles and unlawful deepfakes (material that depicts a minor engaging in sex acts).
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit detectives began an investigation Sept. 19 after receiving a complaint from the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, who alleged Addison possessed child sexual abuse materials.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant on Wednesday and located Addison the next day. He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail on $625,000 bond.
