Lafayette Police officer arrested, charged with domestic violence

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A Lafayette Police officer was arrested Sunday and accused of domestic violence, authorities said.
Christian Hinson, 27, is charged with battery of a dating partner and false imprisonment.
Hinson was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. Bond details were not released.
Hinson will be placed on administrative leave immediately upon his release, officials said.
