Lafayette Regional Airport to host 36th annual Aviation Fun Day
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Kids who may be interested in a career in aviation will have a chance to take a close look at the industry in October.
Registration is now open for the 36th Annual Aviation Fun Day on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Lafayette Regional Airport.
This event will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Air Rescue and Fire Fighting station at 224 Tower Drive.
Activities include games, contests, a tour of the airfield, drawings, fun jumps, slides and a firefighting demonstration. Lunch is included.
Registration for children ages 5-12 is now open on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 300 kids. All children must be accompanied by at least one parent or adult guardian. Absolutely no strollers allowed.
