Hot and more humid today with isolated showers and storms

More humid conditions are being felt in Acadiana this Thursday morning with temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. Highs today return to the lower 90s with a heat index hotter than 95° for much of the afternoon. Isolated showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening as rain chances increase to 30% today.

Friday turns quieter but scattered rain is still looking likely on Sunday. Heavy rains are possible but the severe threat and flash flooding risks should remain low for Acadiana. More scattered rain is possible on Monday too.
