St. Martinville man faces charges for third-degree rape

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY) -- A St. Martinville man has been arrested on several third-degree rape charges according to authorities.
Today, Wade Devillier, 36, of St. Martinville was arrested and charged on three felony counts of third-degree rape.
Authorities said on Monday, Aug. 4, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding a suspected sexual assault. An investigation into the allegations was initiated, and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Devillier was booked into a St. Martin Parish jail following his arrest. There is currenly no information available regarding his bond.
