Festival International’s 40-Year immortalized book
LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) -- Festival International de Louisiane marks its 40th anniversary with the publication of a book this fall.
The 200-page bilingual hardcover limited edition will debut at a press conference Oct. 31 and book launch event hosted by Cavalier House Books during Artwalk on Nov. 8 in downtown Lafayette.
The book features stunning full color photography by many of Louisiana’s most celebrated photographers. Their work vividly captures some of the most memorable performances on city streets and Festival stages across four decades and offers a peek behind-the-scenes to acknowledge the work of the thousands of volunteers who make it all possible.
The book launch will be a ticketed event that will include a short presentation by the book’s creative team on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. at Cavalier House Books, 302 A Jefferson Street in downtown Lafayette. Two tickets are included with the purchase of each book.
Only limited edition commemorative copies signed by key contributors will be available at the launch; the price is $140. Tickets for the launch presentation only are $10 and seating is limited. Beginning Nov. 10, 2025, copies will be available the Festival’s website with the hardcover edition price at $95.
