Arrests made in connection with two separate burglaries in the same Lake Charles parking lot
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- Several people have been arrested in connection with a pair of seemingly unrelated vehicle burglaries at the same Lake Charles nightclub, authorities said.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated vehicle burglaries and thefts of firearms between Sept. 21-28 in the parking lot of a local club on Common Street in Lake Charles.
Deputies were dispatched Sept. 21 to investigate a report of a burglary from the previous night, in which the victim said his gun was stolen out of his truck in the parking lot. After reviewing surveillance video, detectives identified three suspects in the theft: Malik D. Williams, 24, Jerimah D. Victorian, 22, and Jaquaileen L. Victorian, 22, all of Lake Charles.
Williams and Jaquaileen Victorian were arrested last week and charged with simple burglary and theft of a firearm. Williams is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Williams' bond is set at $225,000 and Jaquaileen Victorian’s bond is set at $150,000.
Jerimah Victorian is still at large. He is charged with simple burglary and theft of a firearm. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call CPSO at 491-3605.
Deputies were dispatched again Sept. 28 in reference to a burglary in the same parking lot. Detectives identified two suspects, Lildell T. Freeman, 20, and Larry T. Hamilton, Jr., 21, both of Lake Charles.
Freeman was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with theft of a firearm and simple burglary. His bond is set at $75,000. Hamilton, who is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges, is charged with simple burglary. His bond is set at $40,000.
