Man arrested in connection with Tuesday morning triple murder in Monroe
MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- A man is in custody in connection with a triple murder in Monroe that left two adults and a 2-year-old child dead, authorities said.
Travis Tyrone Payton, 24, is charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count each of home invasion and criminal conspiracy.
Monroe Police discovered the bodies of 27-year-old Jamal Bosley, 25-year-old Jaborris Simpson and a 2-year-old girl in the 2000 block of Grammont Street in Monroe early Tuesday.
Payton was arrested early Wednesday morning and booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center. Bond details were not released.
