Joint police operation in Jeanerette leads to several arrests

				JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A joint police operation conducted in Jeanerette resulted in multiple arrests for various offenses.
- Kenderrick Thompson, 28, was arrested for theft and attempted simple robbery of a local business. He was sent to an Iberia Parish jail.
- Robert Cleveland Bobb, 57, was arrested for contempt of court related to possession of Schedule I narcotics and disturbing the peace. He was released after posting a $190 cash bond.
- Aaron Micheal Johnson, 56, was arrested for simple battery of the infirm and held awaiting bond set at $5,000.
- Barry Lynn Hogan, 55, was arrested for contempt of court related to trespassing and held awaiting a $1,500 bond.
- Terry Meleke Tyler, 29, was arrested for skimming lottery proceeds and sent to an Iberia Parish Jail, awaiting bond.
- Damarcus Davon Polidore, 28, was arrested for simple battery and aggravated assault, and released on a $4,000 bond.
According to authorities, Oct. 29, the Jeanerette Police Department and several other local law enforcement agencies, focused on high-crime areas within the city limits.
