LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Louisiana Men's Basketball was defeated by Ball State 75-64 in their season opener at Worthen Arena, marking the first game under new head coach Quannas White.
The Ragin' Cajuns starting lineup included Jamyron Keller, Jaxon Olvera, Dorian Finister, Dariyus Woodson and Jeremiah Evans in their first game of the new season.
The game was part of the MAC-SBC Challenge, and saw Louisiana struggle against Ball State's hot shooting from beyond the arc.
