Report: Drew Brees joins FOX Sports as full-time NFL analyst
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- According to a report, former Saints quarterback Drew Brees is joining Fox Sports as a full-time NFL analyst.
According to Andrew Marchand, Sr. Writer for The Athletic, Brees will be replacing Mark Sanchez in the booth.
Sanchez is charged with attacking and seriously injuring a truck driver outside a hotel in what prosecutors say was a dispute over a parking place.
According to Marchand, the exact terms between Brees and Fox Sports aren't known, but it's expected to be for multiple years.
Brees only lasted one season with NBC after retiring from the NFL.
Brees, who is second all-time to Tom Brady with 80,358 yards passing and 571 touchdown passes, recently advanced to the next stage of consideration for the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame.
