Road closure in Lafayette starting Monday

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Some motorists in Lafayette will need to find an alternate route staring next week.
The 200 block of Luke Street between Wall Street and Dulles Drive will be closed beginning Nov. 10.
Public Works Drainage crews will be performing cross drain repairs under the road across Luke Street from Nov. 10-21.
Detour routes will be provided, and local access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the closure area. The routes will include Dulles Drive, S. Long Street and Wall Street.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted detour signage.
