Dog rescued from abuse, owner charged with cruelty

Randy Touchet of Lafayette was sentenced to 30 days in jail and charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals after allegedly zip-tying the back skin of a pit bull, which was rescued and treated at an emergency veterinary clinic.
