Cold start to 2026, Warmer temperatures Friday

After a cold start to the new year, sunshine will fill the sky and help to warm temperatures to near 70 in the afternoon, with a few showers expected on Friday and a mixture of sun and clouds and mild temperatures expected over the weekend.
