K-State graduate Serena Sundell to represent Team USA in FIBA 3x3 Nations League
PUNTA ARENAS, CHILE (KSNT)- Recent Kansas State graduate Serena Sundell will continue her impressive summer on the international stage as a member of the 2025 USA Basketball 3x3 Women’s Nations League Team.
Sundell will compete at the FIBA 3x3 Youth Nations League Americas in Punta Arenas, Chile, from July 21–27.
The Maryville, Missouri native is one of six players selected for Team USA.
The week-long event features daily pool play and championship rounds, with standings resetting each day.
She helped her team, B&B, win the 3XBA event at the Spokane Hoopfest on June 27-28 in Spokane, Washington which qualified the team for the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on August 1-2.
Sundell, a 2025 WNBA Draft pick by the Seattle Storm, ended her K-State career as the program’s all-time leader in assists (811), starts (139), and games played (139). She ranks sixth in school history in scoring (1,771 points) and is the only Wildcat ever to record 500+ points and 200+ assists in a season.
