Kansas track and cross country head coach Stanley Redwind joins K-Nation to talk the current season

LAWRENCE (KSNT) - Kansas track & field and cross country head coach Stanley Redwine joins K-Nation to talk about the Jayhawks' early start to the cross country season.

The women's team placed first and the men's team placed second at the annual Bob Timmons Classic to open the season.

Knasas track & field and cross country head coach Stanley Redwine enters his 25th season at the helm of the program. The Paris 2024 Olympic Team USA men's head coach signed a four-year contract extension back in January 2025.

"It's the people," Redwine said. "I especially think it's the people who are up and down our hallway. They are great to work with here. The leadership from Travis and everyone else I think is pretty good. I've just always loved this place, and the athletes are great."
