More road construction coming to Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) - Parts of a major Topeka Road will be closed this week.

Kansas Avenue will have different lane closures this week between 25th and 21st. The work is for pavement repairs on the road. The project is split into three phases, with the first phase closing the northbound right lane from the 25th to 27th street intersection to 2500.

The second will close both the northbound and southbound inside lanes between Hillside and 2500.

The third will close the northbound right lane between 2310 and the southern entrance of 2132. All driveways will remain accessible in phases one and three. Construction is anticipated to end this Friday.
