Additional showers and storms roll in Sunday
What We’re Tracking
- Scattered showers and storms
- Cool temperatures return midweek
- On-and-off rain
Cloud cover begins to increase heading into the overnight hours. Temperatures only drop down into the lower to middle 60s. Wind will stay calm. A few isolated showers and storms are possible during this time, but most should stay south.
Another chance for scattered storms returns later on Sunday morning and afternoon. If you have outdoor plans this weekend keep an eye out for a few pop-up showers. Dew points remain around the mid 60s for a humid feel as we begin fall.
Showers and storms may linger into Monday and Tuesday, with the better chance for showers and storms coming on Tuesday, before we finally clear out midweek bringing slightly cooler weather for the second half of the week. The first day of fall is Monday.
