Scattered storms to finish out summer heading into Fall
What We’re Tracking
- Scattered showers and storms
- Cool temperatures return midweek
- Drying out later in the week
Another chance for scattered storms returns later this morning and afternoon for the last day of Summer. If you have outdoor plans keep an eye out for a few pop-up showers and storms. Storms could become severe, but confidence remains low that severe storms will develop. Temperatures will stay mild with highs in the middle to upper 70s.
Some areas could see some dry time for the first day of Fall with partly cloudy skies. There is a chance for scattered thunderstorms, but confidence remains low on if storms become severe. Highs for Monday should be around the upper 70s to lower 80s for a mild to warm feel to start out Fall.
The better chance for showers and storms comes on Tuesday, before we finally clear out past midweek bringing slightly cooler weather for the second half of the week before temperatures return to more of a mild feel heading into the first weekend of fall.
