Mild, sunny this afternoon, rain arrives late tonight
What We’re Tracking
- Mild, sunny for Monday
- Storms arrive late
- Widespread rain on Tuesday
Some spots this morning are seeing some patchy fog. Temperatures have dipped down into the lower to middle 60s. There's not a lot of wind out there, but if you feel a breeze, it will be out of the south.
Some areas will see some dry time for the first day of fall with partly cloudy to mostly sunny weather for a good portion of today. There is a chance for scattered thunderstorms by later in the evening. Highs should be around the upper 70s to lower 80s for a mild to warm feel to start out fall.
The better chance for showers and storms comes on Tuesday. Some areas could see heavy rainfall on Tuesday before we finally clear out past mid-week, bringing slightly cooler weather for the second half of the week. Later in the week, temperatures return to more of a mild feel heading into the first weekend of fall.
