EMS veteran fights for his life, seeks help with medical bills
TOPEKA (KSNT)- Instead of saving other people's lives, a local EMS veteran is fighting for his own.
Ron Rosine is suffering from a gastrointestinal illness. He was diagnosed in July of this year. Since Rosine got sick, he's lost over a hundred pounds.
The disease has forced him to step away from his EMS job that he’s had for over two decades, and now he’s struggling to stay ahead of mounting medical bills and everyday expenses.
"When I got into Pottawatomie county, it just, everything clicked, I found, I found a home and I don't think I'd want to go anywhere else," Rosine said. "I have an amazing support team there right now that's helping me out right now and everything else."
Rosine's story is one of dedication, struggle, and community. If you'd like to donate to his GoFundMe, click here
