Washburn volleyball remains at No. 2 in AVCA poll
TOPEKA (KSNT)- The Washburn volleyball team remained at No. 2 in the AVCA Division II poll.
Washburn went 2-0 over the week with sweeps over then No. 24 Central Missouri and Missouri Southern to improve to 19-1 (8-1 MIAA).
The Ichabods are ranked first in the country in hitting percentage (.310) while being ranked second in assists per set (13.87). Washburn is also top-10 in kills and blocks per set.
Washburn is back at home Friday for round two of the Turnpike Tussle with No. 25 Emporia State for its 'Pink Out' game.
The Ichabods swept the Hornets when the two squared off on Oct. 7.
Game is set for 6:00 p.m.
