Kansas Livestock Association roundtables start this week
KANSAS (KSNT) - The Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) roundtable meetings are set to start this week, providing members a chance to discuss issues the industry is facing, as well as goals for the coming year.
The KLA will be holding seven roundtable events: six in-person and one virtual. These meetings are designed to bring together cattlemen, industry partners and other members to discuss the state of their industry as well as the organization itself.
The in-person meetings will be located at:
- Oct. 28: Attica.
- Oct. 30: Hiawatha.
- Oct. 30: Thayer.
- Nov. 3: Great Bend.
- Nov. 3: Junction City.
- Nov. 5: Scott City.
There will also be a virtual meeting on Nov. 10 for those unable to attend their closest in-person event. Each roundtable begins at 6:30 p.m. and the in-person meetings will include a complimentary beef dinner.
To register for the event, contact Shelbi Wiggs at shelbi@kla.org or at 785-273-5115 with information about which event you'd like to attend, and how many will be with you. The annual KLA convention will be from Nov. 19 to 21 in Manhattan.
