Impactful storm system bringing rainfall and strong winds

Temperatures tonight are in the lower 50s as an impactful storm system approaches tomorrow morning. Widespread rain begins early Tuesday and sticks around for most of the day in Northeast Kansas. Expect temperatures in the middle 50s tomorrow not warming up much due to cloud cover and rainfall.

As the system continues eastward we still feel the impact with strong winds gusting up to 30mph out of the north. The strong wind picks up throughout the day on Tuesday and peaks out Tuesday night with a few areas seeing wind gust up to 50mph. These winds stick around Wednesday after the rainfall moves out of our area with the high in the lower 50s.

We will clear out for the middle of the week with temperatures staying cool. Lows will drop back in the lower 30s with highs in the 50s for the second half of the week, including Halloween.
