Iconic NE Kansas restaurant now available in Allen Fieldhouse

LAWRENCE (KSNT) - The iconic Johnny's Tavern will now be providing concessions in the cathedral of college basketball.

Johnny's Tavern announced on Oct. 28 that it will have locations in the northwest and southwest corners of the second level of historic Allen Fieldhouse for the duration of both the men's and women's basketball seasons.

"Grab a Johnny’s Smash Burger from the concession stands in the northwest and southwest corners of the second level at Allen Fieldhouse all season long. We’re proud to continue our partnership with KU Athletics and excited to be part of the best basketball atmosphere on earth"

You can grab one of the tavern's legendary smash burgers at any of the up-coming basketball games in Allen Fieldhouse. The men's basketball team begins regular season play in Lawrence on Nov. 3 against Green Bay, while the women's team begins theirs on Nov. 5 against Kansas City.
