Local grocery collecting donations for Topeka's Ronald McDonald House
Topeka (KSNT)- Help fill the Ronald McDonald House this holiday season right here in Topeka.
Seabrook Apple Market is collecting donations on behalf of the charity. The Ronald McDonald House opened in 1974 and has been helping families ever since.
You can find a list at the grocery store of everything they accept.
"I used that a lot, and it helped me be able to feed myself, be able to take a shower, be able to spend the night, and get away from the IVs and all that stuff." Kimberly Hurt, a cashier at Seabrook Apple Market says "so it was just a safe space for me to decompress and think about my health while my son was getting help with him, his issues."
The food drive runs until November 8th at 8 pm.
