Local bar holds 10th annual chili cook-off
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Kickstart of Topeka had its annual chili cook-off for the community to enjoy.
This cook-off has been a local bar's favorite tradition for well over 10 years. This year they had over six pots of chili to choose between and prizes for the winners, such as a stainless steel 12-piece pot set.
"We're open every day, so they can come in any day and celebrate life period. the chili cook-off is one big way to get people in, but whatever, whatever the reason they want." Tim Wilson a bartender at Kickstart says "they are welcome to come and join."
Kickstart his also hosting a thanksgiving potluck for anyone who needs company this holiday season.
