Several pleasant days ahead before a big cool-down this weekend
What We’re Tracking
- Above average weather this week
- Warm, comfortable temperatures
- Sharply colder by Sunday
Clear to partly cloudy weather tonight with temperatures only falling into the upper 40s to near 50°. Wind will gradually shift from south to north through the night as a weak cold front slides through the area.
Both tonight's cold front and another one on Friday morning will be rather weak. Highs behind the front on Wednesday will still climb into the middle 60s. After a brief warm-up to the 70s on Thursday, we cool back to the 60s again on Friday.
However, a much stronger cold front should move through Saturday evening. A few showers are possible near the front itself, but the main story will be the cold wind rushing in behind the front for Sunday. Highs will struggle back into the 40s with very chilly wind in the early hours of the day.
