Stormont Vail Health launches brand new service
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Stormont Vail Health announced the launch of Virtual Care After Hours video visits, a new service available to active primary care patients.
This new service applies to active Stormont Vail/Cotton O'Neil primary care patients, allowing them to access care from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday without scheduling an appointment or visiting in-person. The program is designed to treat acute minor illnesses and injuries quickly and conveniently.
“We’re excited to offer our patients a flexible, accessible way to receive care after traditional office hours,” said Dr. Michael Lexow, Family Medicine and Primary Care specialist. "This service reflects our commitment to innovation and patient-centered care.”
Stormont Vail plans to expand the Virtual Care After Service program to include regular business hours to further enhance access and convivence for patients. To schedule an appointment, patients must request a visit on MyChart.
