Police searching for 2 suspects in connection with aggravated robbery in downtown Austin
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is searching for two suspects involved in an aggravated robbery on Saturday, July 19 in downtown Austin, a press release from APD said.
Austin police said the incident happened early Saturday, around 2:10 a.m. Police did not say where the robbery happened.
The suspects, a woman and a man, were involved in a verbal argument with a group of women who were in town for a bachelorette party. APD said one woman was "violently assaulted" by the female suspect.

Suspect 1
Austin Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic female between 25 and 40-years-old. She has tattoos on one arm, both thighs and on the side of her torso. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts, and gray and white Nikes, according to police.
Suspect 2
Police said the second suspect is a Black male between 30 and 40-years old. He is approximately 5-foot 8-inches to 6-foot-1 tall and has a stocky build. The man has a tattoo on his arm and was last seen wearing a white "Jordan" T-shirt, blue jeans and gray shoes, Austin police said.
Both suspects fled the scene in a light-colored van or SUV after taking the victim's personal belongings, APD said.
