Lee County Sherriff arrested, accused of DWI

AUSTIN (KXAN) --  A Lee County Sheriff was arrested and accused of driving while intoxicated on Sunday morning. 

According to jail records, Lee County Sheriff Garrett Durrenberger, 38, was arrested at a traffic stop by the Texas Department of Public Safety. 

Durrenbereger was booked into the Lee County Jail early Sunday morning and was released hours later, according to records.

Attorney information is not listed for Durrenberger. We will update this if that changes.
