KBVO Game of the Week: No. 9 Westlake opens district play vs. Akins

0

AUSTIN (KXAN) — No. 9 Westlake plays the next two Thursdays in the KBVO Game of the Week, and this week, the Chaps head to Burger Stadium to take on Akins in a district battle at 7:30 p.m.

Westlake was idle last week while the Eagles, who started the season 4-0, were blasted by Dripping Springs 63-0 in their District 26-6A opener. It's a tough opening stretch for Akins in district play against the No. 9 and No. 11 teams in the Dave Campbell's Texas Football Class 6A rankings.
