Some residents affected after water main break in Manor

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The city of Manor reported a water main break after a contractor "accidentally hit" the water line in the city near Gregg Lane, according to the city.

The city said on social media that residents on the northeast side of U.S. 290 "will experience lower-than-normal water pressure." This means that Mustang Valley "will be shut off entirely due to an isolated water leak."

"Gregg Lane will be partially closed as we address a significant water main break near the road," the city said.

The city said residents should expect traffic delays, as well as seek alternate routes near the FM 973 and Gregg Lane intersection.

"We are actively working to repair the water break and will provide updates as soon as the repair is completed and the road is reopened for two-way traffic," the city said.
