Austin parks see crime reduction during security camera pilot program, parks department says

The City of Austin and Austin Parks and Recreation, or APR, have been working over the past few years to enhance public safety at city parks. Part of those efforts included a multi-year pilot program that deployed trailers with security cameras to various city parks.
