Dow skids more than 200 points in early trading on fears of China trade war

Stocks are opening lower — with the Dow Jones industrial average skidding more than 200 points — as President Trump is expected to impose trade sanctions on China.

The Trump administration is planning to announce tariffs on Chinese products Thursday as well as restrictions on Chinese investments.
