A hidden Alpine retreat destroyed in Eaton fire rises from the ashes for Oktoberfest

Nature Friends, a 100-year-old clubhouse in the hills of Sierra Madre, was burned during the Eaton fire. Its membership rallied to hold their annual Oktoberfest amid the rubble.
