Woman, young girl stabbed in South L.A., police say

A woman and a young girl were stabbed Monday night in South Los Angeles, authorities said. 

The attack occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at a home near 35th Street and Arlington Avenue, Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez said.
