Marin deputies arrest burglary suspect in Marshall
Marin County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of burglarizing a Marshall residence and eating the food there.
The incident was reported at about 2:50 p.m. Monday on Shoreline Highway near Marconi Conference Center State Historic Park. A housecleaner entered the home, encountered the intruder and contacted authorities, sheriff’s Lt. Brennan Collins said.
Deputies contacted a man with a similar description outside a nearby restaurant. Preston Stanley James Glenn, 27, of San Rafael was booked into the Marin County Jail, where his bail amount was set at $50,000.
Collins said there was no evidence of forced entry or damage to the house. He said the front door had been left unlocked.
