Pot farms are poisoning spotted owls in the Emerald Triangle, study finds

Researchers from UC Davis and the California Academy of Sciences found rat poison in 7 out of 10 spotted owls found dead in the forests in a region where cannabis growers may be using the pesticides to protect their crops.
