On Feb 15, Rep. John Faso, R-N.Y., and Rep. Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., introduced the Challenges and Prizes for Climate Act of 2018 (HR 5031). If passed, it will organize prize competitions for carbon capture, energy efficiency, energy storage, climate resiliency and climate data analytics.
