Triathlete and avid rock climber, both from Oakland, killed in accidents half a world apart

Alistair Eeckman was a professional triathlete. Lauren "Kimi" Worrell was a young scientist and an avid rock climber. But tragically, a day apart, on different continents far from home, these two Oakland natives were both killed this week.
