The Sharks won the first game of the best-of-seven series 5-2 on Wednesday night at SAP Center before a capacity crowd of 17,562. Games 3 and 4 will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. If necessary, Game 5 will be back in San Jose next Thursday.
Fans can purchase tickets at the arena, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at Ticketmaster outlets. The ticket office at SAP Center is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For weekend events, the ticket office opens at 2 p.m.
Free street rallies are being held before all Sharks home games throughout the playoffs, and free watch parties will also be held for all away games.
Street rallies will take place next to SAP Center on Autumn St. between Santa Clara and St. John streets and will be open to the public from 5-7 p.m. The festivities include a DJ, inflatable Shark Head for photo ops, face painters, a slap shot booth and a photo booth. A 33-foot portable TV screen on Autumn St. will show other NHL playoff games.
Food trucks will also be on hand with food available for purchase. Fans may purchase beer for $6 at the Sharks Foundation beer booth, with net proceeds from sales going directly to the Sharks Foundation. Street rally pans are subject to change and are weather-permitting.
The first two watch parties — Sunday and next Tuesday for games 3 and 4 in Las Vegas — will be held on Autumn St. outside of SAP Center. Sunday’s event begins at 5:30 p.m. with the game broadcast at 7 p.m. Tuesday’s will begin at 6 p.m. with the game at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
