Kendall Jenner’s habit of dating NBA stars seemingly called out by Ben Simmons’ sister
The big sister of Ben Simmons, Kendall Jenner's latest NBA boyfriend, appeared to have things to say about her preference for pro basketball players.
Amazingly, Kendall Jenner probably isn’t dating yet another NBA star, despite a Daily Mail report that the supermodel had gone on a “romantic cruise” with L.A. Laker Kyle Kuzma over the July 4 holiday. It turns out that Jenner and Kuzma were among a group of people partying on a yacht and remain “just friends,” Hollywood Life reported Monday.
Still, the idea that Jenner might have found another NBA boyfriend prompted the outspoken older sister of Ben Simmons, Jenner’s most recent NBA ex, to appear to throw shade at the Kardashian family member for her habit of cycling through pro basketball players, Hollywood Life said.
Liv Alice Simmons tweeted July 10, “I just wouldn’t ever wanna be known for dating athletes. Like imagine working your way through a league. Not a team a LEAGUE!”

Up until May, Jenner, 23, and Simmons, 22, of the Philadelphia 76ers, had been an on-off item for about a year. The Kardashian family member elusively referred to their “sacred bond” in the June issue of Australian Vogue. But Jenner apparently gave the interview before “the relationship ran its course,” a source told People.
Before Jenner dated Simmons, she was involved in an on-off relationship with Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin, 30, which ended in a tabloid mess. In February 2018, Jenner was named in a palimony suit filed against Griffin by his ex-fiancee, Brynn Cameron, who accused Jenner of a being a home wrecker and the reason that Griffin left her and their two young children.
Griffin was preceded in Jenner’s life by Cleveland Cavaliers player Jordan Clarkson, 27, Hollywood Life reported. Jenner was linked to Clarkson in 2016 when he still played for the L.A. Lakers.
Given this sort of history, some of Liv Alice Simmons’ Twitter followers expressed appreciation for her seeming to throw “shade” at Jenner, even though the former Arizona State University basketball star insisted she had not directly named Jenner in her tweets.

Another user told Liz Alice Simmons, “Just want to say well done for calling out and exposing Kendall Jenner for what she really is.”
Simmons’ tweet came a few days before her brother, the 2017-18 NBA Rookie of the Year, became a very rich man. On Monday, he and the Philadelphia 76s reached an agreement for a $170 million, five-year contact for him to stay with the team, ESPN reported.
Perhaps news of Ben Simmons’ contract prompted some Jenner fans to push back against Liv Alice Simmons, who proceeded Tuesday to pushed back at them with some more tweets.
