One man arrested, one hospitalized after shooting in Oakland Saturday night
A man suspected of the shooting tried to flee the area on a bicycle, but was captured by police a short distance away, police said.
One man was hospitalized and another man arrested following a shooting near the Coliseum BART station in Oakland on Saturday night, police said.
A bit after 8 p.m., police said a 24-year-old man was shot in his left arm near the 7300 block of San Leandro Street, and transported to a hospital. He was listed in stable condition early morning Sunday.
A 44-year-old man suspected of the shooting, who police didn’t identify, tried to flee the area on a bicycle but was captured by police a short distance away, police said.
