Police respond to East Oakland injury shooting
Police are at the scene of an injury shooting that left at least one person injured, authorities said.
OAKLAND — Police reported to the scene of an injury shooting that left at least one person injured, authorities said.
Around 9:10 p.m., police responded to reports of the shooting near 85th Avenue and International Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found a male lying on the ground on the east side of the 1400 block of 85th Avenue suffering from at least two gunshot wounds.
Oakland firefighters also responded to the scene and provided care while officers blocked off streets and secured the scene, recovering multiple shell casings.
No word was immediately available on the man’s condition Thursday night.
Officers had no motive or suspects in custody.
