Autumn brings harvest festivities of all sorts, including pumpkin patches popping up in cities and towns across the Bay Area. ABC Tree Farms (http://abctreefarms.net/pumpkin-patches/), alone accounts for 19, but there are scores more. Here’s just a sampling.
ALAMEDA

Activities include a pumpkin village and pumpkin kingdom play areas, a duck pond and a walking path for an up-close encounter with goats, hens, roosters, lambs and other farm critters.
