Dyson’s new supersonic hair dryer is worth the price tag
It’s got a feature that will memorize your heat settings
I splurged on a Dyson Supersonic last October, and my hair routine hasn’t been the same since. The cult-favorite hair tool is truly in a class of its own, so to hear that Dyson was releasing a new, upgraded version of the hair dryer was a little bit more than exciting. The latest model, the Supersonic Nural, can learn your heat and speed preferences, can tell when you’ve put it down and has auto-adjust features for the air flow — almost as if it can read your mind.
The new Supersonic Nural is worth the upgrade
If you already have the original Supersonic, you don’t necessarily need the upgrade, as both products offer the salon-quality results you know and love. But if you’re finally deciding to take the plunge and buy one for the first time, the upgraded smart tech on the new Supersonic Nural is well worth the additional $70. After all, who wouldn’t want their hair dryer to know exactly how hot the air should be as well as how fast it should blow?
More Dyson hair tools worth a look
This is the only straightener you’ll find with flexing copper plates that work to gather hair for extra control, which allows for upgraded styling without the heat damage, giving you smooth, sleek results with less frizz. It’s cordless and comes with a charging dock, so it’s easy to use when you travel.
The almighty Airwrap is almost as popular as the Supersonic. This 6-in-1 multi-styler has tools for drying, smoothing, curling and volumizing. It has Bluetooth capabilities and connects to the Dyson app, where users can create a profile and set styling preferences.
This hair dryer might look a little different, but it’s lighter and even more powerful than the Supersonic. Built with the Dyson Hyperdymium motor, it’s designed to streamline and evenly heat airflow, reducing static to minimize frizz by up to 46%.
