Naij.com has gathered that the picture of Amosun’s loot is not related with Nigeria at all. The photo shows a part of $600 million that belonged to Pablo “El Patron” Escobar, the most famous drug dealer in the history of Colombia, South America.
The discovery of the blue containers full of cash was made by a Columbian farmer in November 2015. Joseph Mariena Cartolos, a farmer, ran into the multi-million dollar treasure when arranging the irrigation system on his newly-acquired piece of land.
Pablo Escobar was one of the richest men in the world. According to Forbes magazine, his fortune was estimated at about seven billion dollars in 1987. Then the narcotics’ king was able to increase it to $30 billion, according to unofficial estimates. Pablo died at the age of 44, on December 2, 1993.
