Clouds, windy, much cooler with light showers
Low pressure tracked across the central Great Lakes to southeastern Canada. In its wake, gusty southwesterly winds and considerable cloud cover lingered much of the day. A weak disturbance is triggering a few showers early tonight that will dissipate after midnight.
The weather will remain unsettled to start the week, with another area of low pressure and cold front approaching from the west, bringing scattered showers and storms late Monday. We should see some sunshine, enough to warm readings back up to the seasonal low 80s.
Drier conditions will develop midweek after Tropical Storm Isaias moves up the past the Mid-Atlantic states into New England Tuesday.
