Rainy finish to nice fall weekend
Rain moved into central Ohio this afternoon a bright start to the day. Temperatures soared into the pleasant upper 60s ahead of an advancing low-pressure area with the help of southerly winds. Readings quickly dropped into the low 50s when the rain arrived.
The rain will be briefly moderate in the eastern part of the state, tapering off later this evening and followed by some clearing and cooler weather overnight.
Skies will turn mostly sunny Monday, with chilly temperatures. High pressure builds in for a few days and brings quick moderation in the weather Tuesday and Wednesday, as highs rebound into the upper 60s and low 70s, which is seasonable.
A relatively dry cold frontal passage Wednesday will lead to a slight cooldown Thursday. A mild westerly flow will usher in warmer temperatures next weekend and highs in the 70es under fair skies.
